I found this beautiful quote:
“If you want to show someone you love them, listen to them .” “It applies across the board, from children, to friends, to enemies, to family, to God.”

We have a NEW court date of May 13th 2o days away! Yes I am so excited I can’t stand it.
Projected travel if we pass court would be around the middle of June.

Can this month be over April 20, 2008

Can this month be over and then the next and then a couple of weeks,
come on now get ready get set get over.
So word is Emmanuel is a winer and cry’s when he’s not being held or paid attention too, um ya I would be sad too if I got taken away from all I knew and loved and lived with tons of screaming babies with no parents in sight, for almost a year, God only knows how much I just can’t contain myself from getting on a plane when I heard that and running and picking him up and taking him home as soon as I could, my heart can hardly contain the love I feel for these boys.
Nite Nite
XO

Cleanse day 1 April 16, 2008

Filed under: food, friends, health, inspire, large families, life, parasites, travel — emmelia @ 9:14 pm

I started my cleanse last night Its called “Aim herbal fiber-blend” I’m taking 1/2 tbls with 8 oz juice and 1/2 tbls liquid bentonite 2x a day, it tastes pretty bad but not as bad as medication can taste, its more herbal, after my colonic cleanse I feel lighter and better, my stomach isn’t bloated very much, so this morning my mom came over we are all kinda into this cleanse thang right now, I have been getting my friends into cleansing as well, I had to go to the bathroom which isn’t that common after having a colonic and some crazy stuff was going down, I am beyond belief that I had parasites like I did this is the third time a 12-15 inch worm has come out (dead!), I had to call my mom in to see, then I called the therapist she told me to bring it in alcohol in a glass jar.
I am really relived but I am guessing that this is just the beginning of this, craziness.
This is what trips me out is that I have always been very concerned about my diet and eating unprocessed food lots of salads and fresh fruit and beans rice herbal teas, my only weakness prior to this was for ice cream, but once I started the cleanse that desire went away. and I have all this crazy stuff coming out and going on in my body but a lot of other people just eat crap and they are not worried about having parasites.
This is so exciting to me and I want everyone now to cleanse for parasites.
My kids have been on the cleanse for a month now. I haven’t noticed much from them but in Hopes diaper there was a 6-7 inch(dead) worm!!!!
In the next month I am having 4 more colonics!! I can’t wait!!

Colonic bliss April 16, 2008

Oh my gosh I never knew that Colonics are amazing I feel so good right now, it was a great way to get over a totally shit*y week with more crap!
I have four more colonics lined up for the next month and I am on a crazy cleanse thing I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen, my stomach went even more down and I just feel amazing, the therapist is awesome and she is a believer as well.
This is too good to be true.
We got a report of Emmanuel and Solomon today on their current health, Emmanuel weighs 17.2 lb. versus 15.4, and Solomon weighs 12 lb. versus 10 less then a month ago.
I figured we will be traveling in less then 10 weeks if everything goes well….please God I can’t take any more waiting, I am going to make a count down starting a 65 days I pray we will travel before then that feels like eternity.

I thought I couldn’t possibly miss paris any more then I already did and then I watched this movie,
Things about Paris, call to worship, eating at a buffet overlooking the Eiffel tower, starwars in english,
picnic in the park with the Dente’s, pink kitchen, Jude getting a bite taken out of his cheek, blow up mattress, spinning light all night long and loud billboards, Becky and I eating in “secret”, Church in Paris, church lunch..becky made it and it was so good, bible study that lasted all night we were asleep after an hour, throwing my favorite shirt down the garbage shoot ten stories down, being spied on, the asian market and district, buying weeds on the street from a street seller, taking our photo in front of a construction zone, Jude walking for the first time under the Eiffel tower, children wearing parkas in May at the park.

Live simply that others may simply live. - Mohandas Gandhi

If you want a golden rule that will fit everybody, this is it. Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. - William Norris,1834-1896

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. - Robert A. Heinlein

Feeding the woman who gave me life March 27, 2008

Filed under: Mothering, food, health, large families, life, love — emmelia @ 5:55 am

“Grandma Dot” passed away tonight an hour ago, with her priest reading her last prayers and daughter by her side how beautiful, a woman from our church who the kids loved, Memory Eternal.
I have been thinking about my grandmother who is still kicking she was born 1921 and has lived the last
almost nine years in a nursing home she is very out of it and it seems like the grandmother I knew is not there, the one glimpse of her that I remember that she still holds is her love for eating sweets and being bossy even with dementia and alzheimer’s she still manages to be bossy, I don’t know how she does it!
She likes to kiss and make small talk, She’s a southern belle from Texas, its fascinating to me to think of the life she led.
Its amazing to me to think of how she took care of me a lot and now we care for her.
